Punjab Assembly Elections 2017 Schedule is released. Punjab Vidhan Sabha Chunav/Punjab Assembly Elections Notification 2017 will soon be released. Punjab Assembly Elections Nominations will be filed from 11th January 2017. Assembly Elections in Punjab will be conducted on the 4th February 2017. CEO, Punjab will soon release Punjab Assembly Elections Notification 2017. Punjab Assembly Election Results will be declared on the 11th March 2017.

Punjab Assembly Elections/Punjab Vidhan Sabha Chunav will be conducted for 117 assembly constituencies. Chief Electoral Officer/CEO Punjab will soon release Punjab Assembly Elections Notification 2017. Election Commission of India has recently released Assembly Election Schedule for 5 states in India namely Punjab, Punjab, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. Last election was held in the year 2012 in Punjab. Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) party has won 54 seats out of 117 and formed the Government in Punjab. This year SAD will face tough competition from other political parties such as Congress, BJP. The terms of the Legislative Assembly of Punjab expiring on 18th March 2017. In Punjab, 34 assembly constituencies are reserved for SC and 0 assembly constituencies are reserved for ST. There are 1,92,14,236 registered voters in Punjab. Final electoral rolls of all these voters will be released on the 5th January 2017.

Photo Electoral Rolls will be used during Punjab General Elections 2017/Punjab Vidhan Sabha Chunav 2017. About 22600 polling stations will be established for the smooth conduct of Punjab Assembly Elections 2017. In 2012, a total of 19724 polling stations were established. Punjab Assembly Elections 2017 will be conducted at all polling stations using EVMs. The Model Code of Conduct has already been came into effect.
